A little post-Christmas pre-New Years Friday Stoke for you!
The Access Fund put together a great short video of Erik Weihenmayer climbing the Naked Edge in Boulder this fall. As some of you may know, Erik was the first blind climber to summit Everest – an amazing feat unto itself, but Erik also gets out there and rock climbs as well. This is a great video of Erik climbing the classic, and difficult, Naked Edge route.
At the end Erik comments that he is really not that inspirational, but more willing to give things a go. I’ll disagree with him on the inspiration part, I do appreciate the humility, but come on! Not inspirational?!
I will echo his challenge to us all – to get out there, give it a go, and embrace the uncertainty.
