Inner Passage is excited to host the Mountain Gear uClimb event at Cochise Stronghold this October 23 – 24, 2010. The uClimb event is a weekend of rock climbing guiding, how-to clinics, community, and fun. The event is designed for participants to learn to climb in a comfortable small-group setting with professional instruction and guidance. Professional instructors will guide you through the basics of climbing, safety, and conservation. This is an ideal introduction to the world of rock climbing.
Cochise Stronghold is the perfect location for the uClimb event – beautiful camping, great introduction rock climbing areas, and warm and dry southern Arizona weather.
uClimb offers a variety of packages depending on age and equipment. All UClimb packages include professional climbing instruction, camping for Friday and Saturday, dinner on Saturday, and Sunday breakfast.
Register for the “Weekend with Gear” package and we’ll provide the basic equipment you’ll need to get up on the rock – a package valued at almost $300, but yours to keep after the event (included with your paid event registration).
The gear package included in the cost of registration includes: a harness, rock climbing shoes, helmet, chalk bag, belay device with locking carabiner, annual membership to the Access Fund, and a 1-year subscription to Urban Climber magazine.
